Make Your Life Meaningful and Enjoyable

It’s been a long time since I posted my last article. I’ve been very busy doing my work and going out with my friends at weekends. Or maybe, I just don’t have any idea in my mind that I can write on to my blog those times. I know this comment of mine is far from the time that my last article was shown. I told you I was too busy with my other stuff. :-)

By the way, have you watched the movie “Transformers”? It was great! Maybe the best movie ever! It was really nice since it adds up a little sense of humor that makes the movie really wonderful. Bumblebee is really good in getting girls’ attention…for me, it was a good style. :-) It was a really nice movie that everyone should watch. Now, Harry Potter will be next in my line. For movie lovers like me, let’s just enjoy watching movies!

Let me change the topic. For every Filipinos around the world, let us support our team this coming Asian FIBA basketball tournament that will be held on Japan this July 28 up to August 5, 2007. Let’s hope that our team will win to have a chance to compete in the Olympics and show that we really have the talents. Filipinos have lots of talents so we must show them how good we really are.

Guys till next time, I have to stop here, need to practice playing billiards because we’re having a tournament with my officemates this coming weekends at Big Shot Quezon City. I hope I will have the chance to get the big price that day. Enjoy your life everyone! That’s what I always wanted to say here on my blog. WEB workshop

What should I say? No words are coming out of my mind at this moment. I feel emptiness inside my brain. That’s how I feel when we talk about WEB workshop. I’m serious it is very difficult for me. I have nothing to lie because the truth is; I’m not really good in English. I know how to speak and write but not as good as a writer. However, I appreciate this workshop because it really helps me a lot. Now, my mind is set in learning English terms and grammars. I need to study hard, read more and more just to improve my English.

I have nothing wrong to say about this workshop. In fact, I like their idea. It helps us to improve our weaknesses. I have one suggestion but I don’t think it may be considered since we are all busy working. I like what Krispin did when he commented in one of our works. He tells us the part where we had a mistake. Therefore, if in every post that we have they will put a comment on it regarding our mistake; it will really be helpful for us. We will know and try to improve those mistakes. Besides, we can prevent it from happening again.

The idea of helping those who didn’t reach the standard is good. It is also scary due to the fact that you fail to satisfy your client. Scary because you don’t know what will happen next. Will they retain or let go of you? Actually it’s the big question that always plays on my mind. In order to avoid that kind of consequence, I need to study and work hard to improve my skills. Another thing is I must really enjoy what I am doing to be successful. For that reason, yes I admit that I’m really enjoying it. Did I mention that this is my first blog? Yeah you’re right, and it is one of the reasons why I’m enjoying writing on my blog.

Alternative Career

If I’m not a Search Engine Optimizer today, I’d rather be a Med Rep, Database Administrator or into sales. Among the 3, being a Database Administrator is what I really want to be even before. I know something about SQL that’s why I chose this work among the three. I know it’s hard but, there are companies that provide training for you to develop your skills for this area. My uncle also gave me some tutorials about SQL. Actually, he wants me to learn what he is doing right now. And I’m thankful to him because with him, I gain more about database.

If I’m not lucky enough being a Database Administrator, I may be a Med Rep. Actually, I have experienced training in one company being a Med Rep. But, I decided not to continue because I was hired by an I.T. company and the salary is higher than being a Med Rep. I also want to work abroad to have a bigger salary. I’ll accept any kind of work if the salary is big enough to support my family.

You might say that I only depend on money or bigger wage but if you will know the reason behind it, maybe it might change your opinions. All I want to do is to help my parents. I came from a poor family. I want my family to experience having a better life. I want them to have a chance to relax and enjoy their life. For so many years, they are working so hard just for us to have food to eat everyday and to support me and my brothers’ studies. I want to change everything. I want them to enjoy the rest of their life not worrying about the food or the daily expenses we have. For now if ever I’m not a Search Engine Optimizer, I think I’ll be doing any kind of work just to help my family.

Changes in Life

It was not that easy to think of a new topic to write, especially to someone like me who is not used in doing something like this. Now, I realized that my brain will last only for 3 days, thinking of words to put in my blog. But I want to prove something especially to myself, that I can do it. Actually, I don’t do this before. I’m a person who loves to play, sleep and do nothing the entire day. It was before, until I realized that I need to help my parents in order for me to build a better future for my family. For me it’s a mission given by God, that’s why I exist here on earth.

Back on my childhood days, I used to play a lot of street games for those years. Now, I’m reminiscing. It’s really a wonderful experience for me. I actually live in a small town in Pateros where you can see a rice field outside our house. There are currently many changes in our town, new faces, houses and more. But what I really missed so much are those trees that were cut down by disaster while some needs to be removed because the area they were planted is the place where a house needs to be built. Those trees gave us fruits to eat and shelter. It is fun to climb up the trees with your friends. It was definitely a happy moment back to those old days. My friends and I were very happy with this kind of lifestyle. We enjoyed every moment that we have on those days. Until the time passes by and now we are all grown up! We are now responsible on helping our parents and building our own family.

Having a job is one thing that changes my life. Now, I’m always busy doing my work. I don’t have to wait for a moment like the summer vacation that I used to have in my school days. When I was studying, summer is the month that the whole class is waiting for. But now, you still need to work to earn money even if it is summer. Those two months vacation will be reduced into a week or days. However, the more important thing is that I have the chance to help my parents. I can buy anything I want without asking for money to my parents. In fact, I am now the one who is giving them money to contribute in the daily expenses at home and more. For me, it’s one of the good things that happen in my life right now.
